Denim

We reach for our old, faded denim jeans when we need to relax and feel comfortable. Well-worn denim is like wearing a lasting hug from a favourite friend.

This bead is made by creating an opaque ivory base, wrapping the base in pure silver foil and then melting in a purple frit (crushed bits of coloured glass)! . The silver and ivory glass are very reactive and cause the frit to turn an organic denim blue mix.
